What you will learn:
- How to plan you herb garden
- Herb categories(cullinary, medicinal, ornmanetal)
- Keeping a Materia Medica
- Herb Planning Journal
- Deciding what to grow and your uses.
- Herb characteristics and actions
Every home, every community needs an herbalist. This course is designed to help accomplish that goal. Once a month, we will learn and enhance our skills to become community or home herbalists. Each class is two hours, with half instruction time and the other half hands-on. Courses can be taken individually, but are designed as building blocks.
The introductory year cost for each class is $25 and includes instructional material, charts, seeds, and supplies. You will also have hands-on access during class times to the resources at The CoffeeLady31.
If you register and pay in full, the total cost is $200. Full registration will save you $25, and will include a copy of Richo Cech’s book “Growing Your Garden Pharmacy,” and a certificate of participation at the end of session. Contact us if you'd like to pay for the full nine month course.
